NeuroCorrect for Anxiety Several studies have been done showing that neurofeedback for anxiety is effective. In each study, neurofeedback training resulted in reduced anxiety. We also strongly recommend that neurofeedback be done together with individual or family therapy. The goal of NeuroCorrect Therapy is to improve the brain's ability to self-regulate, maintain flexibility, and smoothly shift between states of relaxation and arousal. Medications can have their place in the short term but they do not address the underlying effect of brainwave imbalance. The goal of all neurofeedback is to transform an unhealthy, abnormal brainwave pattern into a normal, healthy, organized pattern. By doing this, the brain becomes more stable and is able to operate optimally and efficiently. NeuroCorrect Technique Neurofeedback is a technique that allows people to learn how to influence their own brain activity by observing a representation of that activity in real time. NeuroCorrect Therapy traces its roots to neuroplasticity - the concept that the brain is malleable and that with frequent, intense practice, patients may transform their brainwave activity. Over time, neurofeedback aims to help patients increase the ratio of high-frequency brain waves, leading to stronger attention and self-control.
